Our quoted price covers delivery, the standard rental period, pickup and disposal. The main way a price changes after the fact is going over the weight allowance for your container size or keeping it well past the standard rental period — both of which we explain up front on the phone.

The standard rental period is about 7 days, which covers most residential cleanouts and single-phase projects. Need it longer for a multi-week remodel or new build? Say so when you call and we'll quote daily or weekly extended rates instead of surprising you later.

If the dumpster sits entirely on private property — your driveway, a curb apron on your own lot, or a job site — the City of Portland does not require a permit. If it has to sit in the public right-of-way, meaning a street or sidewalk, you may need a temporary placement permit from the city, and our team can help walk you through that process.

We haven't verified a specific published permit rule for Beaverton, Hillsboro, Tigard, Lake Oswego, Milwaukie, Gresham, Oregon City or Happy Valley, and rules vary by city and county. Call your local city or county office to confirm before ordering, especially if there's any chance the container will sit in a street or public right-of-way instead of entirely on your property.

Not if it's placed correctly. Our drivers use protective boards under the container's contact points on asphalt and pavers, and we plan placement before the truck arrives rather than dropping it wherever is convenient. Mention a sensitive driveway surface when you book so we can plan around it.

Hazardous materials, tires, paint, batteries, appliances with refrigerants, and certain electronics generally can't go in a standard roll-off, and asbestos-containing material needs special handling, especially in older Portland-area homes.
